(2000; 2014)  The Inn at Castle Hill is a rambling ten-room retreat overlooking Crane Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.  Using just a handful of historic records and one early photograph showing a missing front porch and other significant architectural details, the original 19th century “Brown Cottage” was both restored and reinvented as a classic seaside inn by C&M architects and builders in 2000.  Fourteen years later, the Trustees of Reservations, who own and operate the inn, again employed C&M to update the interiors and further enhance the guest experience.   See Also:  2014 interior design refresh project in the Interior Design portfolio.
