Our Philosophy
Style
For many, New England architecture invokes multiple images and associations ranging from the quintessential 17th century Salt Box to the imposing brick Federal style of the late 18th century, to the graceful textures of the coastal shingle style at the turn of the 20th century. When appropriate, we honor these stylistic precedents in our design work, yet our solutions are always new and fresh. As we see it, our job is not to copy what already exists but to provide uniqueness within context, giving each project a distinctive style that is not out of place.
